Computational Marine Hydrodynamics Computational Marine Hydrodynamics Dr Batuhan Aktas is a Research Associate in the Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering Department at the University of Strathclyde. His research covers a wide range of marine hydrodynamics related problems including ship performance and hull resistance prediction, propeller cavitation simulation, design of hydrodynamic energy saving devices, seakeeping and ship motion estimations. He uses Archie-WEST HPC for setting up, running and post processing CFD simulations. For more information about the project contact Dr Batuhan Aktas (batuhan.aktas@strath.ac.uk) Research Associate or Prof Mehmet Atlar Professor of Naval hydrodynamics & Director of Research at the Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering at the University of Strathclyde.
