Short project description: This project aims at studying how artificial convolutional neural networks (CNN) can be utilised in fluorescence microscopy to enhance image contrast of cellular structures. Here, the focus will lie on training a CNN as image content filter for label-specific artefacts or binding to cytosolic protein.
