Academic Project Extension

Please complete the form below in order to extend an existing project on ARCHIE-WeSt.

Please note, that there are now two levels of service operating on ARCHIE-WeSt:

1. A priority service charged at the standard advertised rates (Service-Level-1, SL1)
2. A standard priority service (service-Level-2, SL2) restricted for members of Partner Institutions with an associated subscription fee of £500 +VAT (if applicable) per user/per year.

High priority access (Service-Level-1, SL1) is the main access route.

Standard priority access (Service-Level-2, SL2) can be used ONLY if the funds to cover SL1 access are not accessible. SL2 access cannot be used for any KE or consultancy projects.

 
To use ARCHIE-WeSt you will be required to accept our Terms and Conditions. You may wish to read them before you begin your application.

About users

In the case of larger number of users associated with the project you will be asked to provide all details after the acceptance of the project.

Project report

Please refer to the project description provided for the initial application.

Please upload a *.doc file containing a brief description of the project which is suitable for the website (500 words approximately). Include a representative figure if possible.
Provide a list of published papers which present and discuss the results obtained with ARCHIE-WeSt. Please note all the papers listed here should acknowledge ARCHIE-WeSt. Give Journal Impact Factor in brackets at the end of each entry. Strathclyde Academics should ensure that the paper is listed in PURE and associated with UOSHPC (option available under equipment section).
Provide a list of published papers which are related to ARCHIE-WeSt but DO NOT present the results obtained with ARCHIE-WeSt. Reviews and papers which include some discussion of the previously published results (e.g. articles belonging to the above category) should be listed here. Papers do not need to acknowledge ARCHIE-WeSt, however the acknowledge is welcomed. Give Journal Impact Factor in brackets at the end of each entry. Provide a list of planned papers. Wherever possible give the list of authors, title, target Journal and the Impact Factor in brackets at the end of each entry. Please indicate if the paper will be directly or indirectly related to ARCHIE-WeSt.
Provide a list of presentations given, with the presentation title, authors and event details. Indicate if it was an invited or contributed talk. Please indicate if the conference talk was directly or indirectly related to ARCHIE-WeSt.
Provide a list of poster presented with title, authors and event details. Please indicate if the poster was directly or indirectly related to ARCHIE-WeSt.
Seminars, Workshops and any other contributions. Provide details as above.
Provide a list of PhD thesis with the due (or completion) date.
Provide a list of ALL grant awards related to ARCHIE-WeSt together with the title, collaborators (if any), funding agency, grant reference ID, the total amount requested, funds requested for HPC expenses, project start and the end date.
Provide a list of All grant proposals submitted and related to ARCHIE-WeSt together with the title, collaborators (if any), funding agency, grant reference ID, the total amount requested, funds requested for HPC expenses, submission date, and when the results will be known.
